Thank You
I am thankful for
the little things...
the promise of each new day,
the privilege of prayer,
the warmth of company,
the one good friend, yes you grrrl *hugs* :)
the banana cake,
the good, long sleep.
I am even more thankful for
the Bigger Things...
being preserved,
being sanctified,
being justified,
being kept alive,
being patiently taught,
being taught patience.
I am so much more thankful that you are
Bigger than my mood swings,
Surer than my heart,
Clearer than my head.
Thank you most of all for...
Grace that helped me enter.
Grace that keeps me standing.
The void deep down just wide enough and just deep enough to hold you.
the little things...
the promise of each new day,
the privilege of prayer,
the warmth of company,
the one good friend, yes you grrrl *hugs* :)
the banana cake,
the good, long sleep.

been reading you since the past half an hour or so (which is a lot of time for an impatient guy)..you write well, without the splash of difficult words, i envy that, as also the freedom in your writing...all the best..
Your last reply made me feel like saying this out loud:
When you are a Bear of Very Little Brain, and you Think of Things, you sometimes find that a Thing which seemed very Thingish inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it.
Thank You! And I cannot think of anything more to say....
this is a cheery post but something about it that still seems sad. don't be sad, rapunzel. life's beautiful.even the painful moments.

MANUSCRYPTS-tongue in cheek humour....now where have i seen that before?
GRAFX-ya! ya! ya!and i pwomise if we come across an eligible bachelor with all the necessary qualifications, i'll sacrifice him for you;-)that's for adopting me :D
DRACO-that wasnt quite what i meant....but thanks for dropping by instead of being a silent figure on my statcounter. that always kinda creeps me out:p
CALVIN-ditto :) i could have written every word of that after reading your blog.
FR-since i am not literate or intellectual like you, that went over my head.
KARINA-sad???nope.not in the least. life's suddenly begun to make sense again and that was a genuine thank you note.
The law of grace is always greater than the law of karma... with grace you can overcome all
PALLAVI-i know what u mean....but methinks grace is not law. it's freedom from law!law makes u suffer, u pay for what u do. there are rules and a price to pay. grace is unmerited.
Since you repeated the question on my blog and yours, I am repeating the answer:
Wat I wanted to say was: That a thing can seem like something to the person who writes about it, and something completely else to another person who reads it (this is for the `broom' set of comments and whatever you derived from them)... and those italicized words were quoting Pooh Bear from Winnie the Pooh !
And after that, the `Thank You' was just a ....errr.... `Thank you'. And I could not think of anything else to say after that... so there!
LOL FR. i get it. and i was never sarcastic. i was just pulling ur leg abt the masochism bit..i said i am not gonna kick u (cos u said u hoped i wudnt kick u) since u were always expecting kicks(read pain...read masochism) and therefore ur hankering after pain/broom/kick/masochism, i was not gonna fulfill :) understood??:-D
